Do you need training or new skills to grow your existing business? Each year we seek applications for thousands of dollars in scholarship money to be awarded in May.

 

Scholarships for this year will be awarded for $2,000 each and are to be used for any type of educational training, classes, certifications, etc. to improve skills and knowledge for you in your business.

 

Application Rules & Guidelines:

1. Be a woman with an existing business, open for at least one (1) year as of the application date.

2. Articulate how the scholarship money will be used in your continuing business education.

3. The scholarship application is open to any woman business owner who works or lives in the Cary, NC area regardless of WBON membership.

4. You must have attended a WBON meeting or event in the 12-months prior to the application deadline.

5. Complete the online application form and submit 3 written references via email to WBONsponsorship@yahoo.com no later than 5:00pm on April 20, 2015.

 

Scholarship winners will be chosen by an impartial (non-member) panel and scholarship awards will be presented to winners at the WBON monthly meeting in May of that year.

 

Winners will also receive a complimentary 1 year membership to WBON-Cary.
